Instagram is getting rid off one of everyone’s favourite features – the photo map!
The Instagram feature allows its users to check where all of their own and other users photos have been taken. Not just nearby, but all around the world. Whether it’d be London or Tokyo.
However, we will no longer be able to use this great feature as it has been disabled. Instagram claims that Photo Maps was not widely used, so the decision has been made to eliminate it.
For those of us who are curious where people take their photos, this was a very disappointing announcement. Although, other features which include location and maps will not be touched – so that isn’t too bad! We will still be able to tag locations whilst posting photos.
